Danielle Doria Braman
Danielle is the founder of Purple Turtle Pediatric Therapy.
She is a compassionate therapist who is innovative in helping her clients achieve their full potential. She has specialized training in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and yoga therapy. Danielle has experience working with a wide array of pediatric conditions. This includes children experiencing sensory processing issues, developmental delay, neurological impairments and childhood cancer. She uses an understanding and fun approach to meet your child’s needs.
Danielle is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), has trained in yoga therapy and is licensed as an occupational therapist (OT) in the state of Colorado. Danielle began her career as an OT at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. She created the first ever yoga therapy program at St Jude. Danielle has conducted handwriting groups and individual therapy utilizing the “Handwriting Without Tears” program. She has worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado, both in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Danielle has contracted with Developmental Pathways to complete evaluations and letters of necessity for clients in need of adaptive equipment. She has also worked in early intervention and has advanced training in handling skills. Danielle draws from these experiences and creates individualized attention for your child.
